Now KURO-SHARI’s sister restaurant NIKU-SHARI AZABU marks its grand opening, offering the world’s first inner beauty niku kappo, traditional Japanese cuisine with a focus on healthy meat offerings.

We are committed to pursuing cuisine as much as we are to the health of our customers. Our niku kappo recipes nourish the body using traditional Japanese recipes with a focus on excellent meat and inner beauty. We use only domestic beef raised on pesticide-free vegetables and special feed and do not use any refined white sugar, artificial sweeteners, chemical seasonings, or other additives. Our mission is “be good to your gut.”

We are "monensin-free," meaning we use only carefully selected cuts of the finest Japanese wagyu beef
raised without using monensin antibiotics. NIKU-SHARI AZABU uses only the finest,
monensin-free wagyu beef so that you can enjoy the world's first guilt-free Japanese meat restaurant
with your wellness in mind.

What is monensin?

Monensin is an antibiotic that helps cattle absorb nutrients more efficiently and is used as a feed additive to promote cattle growth.

However, it is also reported to adversely affect the intestinal health of humans and animals.

The EU has banned the sale and use of antibiotics like monensin for growth-promoting purposes since January 2006. NIKU-SHARI AZABU uses only the choicest wagyu beef raised on monensin-free feed.

We can provide a private counter for parties of 10 or more. For parties of 14 or more, dining rooms are available in addition to the counter.

Bringing Children

Children aged six or younger are only allowed in private rooms.

When accompanied by a child aged six or younger

Five Rules When Accompanied by Children

We request your consideration and cooperation so everyone can enjoy their dining experience with us. We ask that you comply with the following five conditions when bringing children.

1. Refrain from posting on social media
We generally do not allow children in the restaurant. Please do not post anything on social media that shows you or your children inside the restaurant.

2. Please be considerate of other diners
If you cannot keep the noise down, please be considerate of other diners.

3. Please be aware of risks to children
Our restaurant is concept-oriented and uses decorative, often fragile, tableware. Please take care to ensure your child does not injure themselves.

4. Please be considerate of sound from videos and games
If your children would like to play videos or games, please be considerate of the volume so as not to disturb other diners.

5. Non-Compliance with the Rules
Please understand that if you do not comply with the four rules listed above, you may not be allowed to bring your children with you in the future.
